This is by far the most ridiculous law ever passed by the Selangor Islamic Religious Council. The Indonesian song Allah Peduli is now banned, and whoever found playing it, can be fine up to RM1000. Why?? Because the word Allah is used in the song repeatedly which refers to Jesus.

While the definition of Allah is totally not as claimed by our government. It is stated in most dictionary, Allah is an arabic term meaning "the God", and it is widely used by Muslims, Arabic Christians, Arabic Jews and others.
It is just the translation of God in english, and Tuhan in BM into arabic which gives the word Allah. So how can a word be banned actually?? Damn. I don't really get this.
It is hillarious, the word FUCK is not ban, but the word Allah is banned! If you ask me, I would say banning the word FUCK would be a wiser choice!
Oh and did I mention yet? Citing from articles found reporting on this, the reason they ban this is the fear of Muslims confused aboout their God.

Sigh. Our government..
Ps: No offense to Islam teachings or Muslims in anyway, just frustrated at our government who have got nothing else better to do other than passing laws like this on a SONG!!!

I think the religious authorities believe that majority of malays are naive and closed-minded, which is somewhat true.
the word ALLAH tidak diharamkan tp haram bila dlm lirik itu ade satu ayat yg mengatakan allah yesus ku. bg seorang islam, kami tidak boleh menyanyikan perkatan tersebut kerana yesus itu bukan tuhan kami, tp ALLAH itu tuhan kami. kalau di indonesia, ya boleh aja mahu dinyanyikan tp di malaysia, sesiapa aja yg agamanya islam harus diharamkan nyanyikan lagu ini. ini boleh memesongkan aqidah dan menyekutukan ALLAH.
Seems like they don't even know who their God is. Even lyrics of a song shakes their faith. What madness....
