Tommorow will be my third weekend? 1st I went to Paris, 2nd i stayed in Le Creusot, tommorow should be going to Lyon, a bigger city to meet up with Dr. Naufal, my lecturer aka advisor aka supervisor.
It's hard to think of something different to cook everyday. Well, you can choose not to, but then you'll have to eat the same old stuff everyday yeah? After few days of rice and spaghetti, I finally got bored.
Here's my dinner today, its potato cubes fried in ham and long beans. I just learn that you call the long beans Haricot. And there's a phrase here "c'est la fin du haricot", which literally means "Its the end of the Haricot". But what it means is actually , "alamak"!! An expression used when something really bad happened.
I learnt this while I was over in my friend's room last night. Matthias invited me over for dinner, but I've already cooked, so instead, I went over for some drinks. And french really love liquor i guess. He has a cabinet, fridge, table full of alcohols. And they are real good.
A picture of two of his liquors, the green one is exeptionally hot, and it taste sweet. He showed me one of the barred item he owns, 89.9% alcohol. Crazy yeah? No wonder it's banned.
And after some drink and chats I left. I have just bought myself some heinekken in the evening. It's cheap. Only 4.40 euro for 6 cans(rm3.6 per can), same price with a piece of tuna sandwich here. Guess who's smiling now.. Hahaha...
Had a can of beer, and man I had a good sleep that night!!
On a side note, here's a picture of snow falling during the day back in the office. I was concentrating with my work, and suddenly Matthias asked if I ever seen snow falling, I said nope. So he asked me to have a look outside!

For some reason, it's great to see snow falling. I wonder!
