Paris Day 1 0-Kiss Me Now!!

So I went to Paris over the weekend and met up with 3 other Malaysians who went over from Nevers. Honestly, I do not know where to begin. I have a dozens of picture taken there, just Eiffel Tower alone might even have more than 30 over pictures. Damn. Where should I begin??

Day 1

I started off from TGV(High speed train in France) in Le Creusot, took a 50€ (RM250?!) train for 1 hour and 15 minutes to Paris.

Notice my gleeful face already!! Paris here I come!

Anyway, we met in Gare de Lyon(one of Paris’s biggest train station), and in this freezing foreign land, it is really a relieve to meet up with your fellow M’sian friends, no joke!!

Then as we arrived somewhere in the north of Paris(near to our hotel), to relieve ourselves from the heavy luggages, I saw thick thick white white snow.. Hmm, my 1st encounter with snow..

And some crazy people drag the luggage into the snow when there’s supposed to be another lane with dry land. Overly excited I guess.

Another picture of us, playing with snow while others stared at us like some freaks!!

Here’s a picture of us studying the map planning our escape route in Paris. Along the way, we saw this park where a dog sits. Not sure what kind of dog is this, but its really common here just like you see Chihuahua in Malaysia.

Cut the long story short, we reached Notre Dam..

This is not it, Notre Dam is opposite this building(which I’m not sure what its called)

And of course my self taken picture!!

Next it was Eiffel Tower!! So much for the majestic Seven Wonders of the World!!

Oh and this is me on the bridge right opposite Eiffel Tower.

And it is really rare to get snow in Paris due to the enormous heat produced by the vehicles and people. So my friend decided to praise the almighty Sun and Snow scene.

With the sun setting, moon starts to shine. And to our surprise, its FULL MOON!!!

Notice that one of the round shining egg yolk hiding behind the trees is not a street lamp but a full moon. If you cant see it still, here it is!

How rare is it to see Eiffel Tower with the Sun, Snow, and a Full Moon altogether on the same day?

Anyway, next attraction would be the arc called L’arc de Triomphe at one end of the famous Champs Elysees. Its one important place for the French where on national day there will be massive celebration there.

Due to Christmas and New Year, decos are all over the place. Here’s a picture of another friend with me, notice the Eye of Paris(that’s what my friend calls it after eye of Malaysia) behind!!

Hell yeah I’m excited looking at the beloved street of Champs Elysees!!

Next stop, Musee du Louvre which is where the legendary Mona Lisa was kept!

Not sure why, but this triangle structure here is the main entrance, there’s actually three of these pyramids like structure. This is the middle one, with one more on each side which is smaller.

Due to time constraint, we do not have the opportunity to peek at Aunty Mona’s smile and say hi to her, but rest assure, I’ll be there again!!

Another view, notice the pool is frozen, and some guys decided to walk on it.

The ice breaks and they fell eventually. Wakakakaka!!

Lastly, we went to Pigalle, some might heard of it, the red light district of Paris.

Here’s an interesting shop name where I was told that people come all the way to take picture of this. (Sorry it’s a bit blur here but I know you can make out what it says!!)

Next is the largest sex shop in Europe!! Yeah I was there, on the inside!! But there’s nothing much to it, I think Amsterdam would be more interesting! =P
