What I learn during my stay in France 3-Overwhelming Kisses

There is somthing that only the US ASD keyboard can do and no other keyboard can. Wanna know what is it?

This...

!@#$%^&*(*&^%$#@#$%^&*(*&^%$#@!@#$%^&*&^%$#@!@#$%^

If you have any other european based keyboard(dunno what you call it), try typing the above line, it'll take you forever to find the right key. hehe..

I guess that explains why europeans curse less than americans. Or maybe not? haha..

ps: in syok sendiri mood cuz somebody's going home soon!!

Eurobot 2009, La Ferte Bernard 0-Kiss Me Now!!

An outdated post it is. Supposed to post this up two weeks back, but I got too caught up with work. Anyway, here it is. =)

So two weekends ago, I was at La Ferte Bernard, for a robotics competition called EUROBOT. UTP started participating last year, when I was the main programmer. It was held in Germany, and this it's in France.

So I went as a supporter for my Uni as well as for Malaysia. However, I ended up being the programmer again. Did not sleep for a night just to program the monster for the next round of competition.

And this is the competition hall. There were 5 tables in total so 5 games can run consecutively. Too bad I didn't get any pictures of me when I was in the game.

We started off pretty badly, none of our robots managed to score. But I'm glad that the last few rounds, we manage to get some points.

And our final ranking is at 27th and 29th(since we sent two teams), out of 50 european teams. Consider that as quite an accomplishment, since its only our second participation, and its against the europeans! =)

Also managed to spend some time hanging around in the city centre. Another old town just like Heidelberg, Germany where Eurobot was held last year. It's quite pretty actually but I just don't have the oohm to take more pictures after all the programming and no sleeping. =(

Last picture of us for the day.

I'm actually in quite an emo state now, so, gonna go off...

Bon Weekend!

Don't Spray Spray a!! 2-Overwhelming Kisses

vandalism

Don't play play a, my pray pray works one a...

Well, I guess my wish came true. It's a sunny day again. So sunny that it brings me back to malaysia. Just for a bit though and I quickly rub that thought off as I pull my jacket over to shield myself from the scorching wind.

Yeah I chose to exxagerate a little here by choosing the word "scorching", but it is really strong and they never seems to go out of breathe blowing at you, all day long..

And you see that picture above? It's taken in Barcelona. One thing you notice about Barcelona is their mural painting are of the top notch. Every inch of wall is covered with random drawings.

Phone booths, stores, underground tunnels, even on vehicles. So much so that they wouldn't need to paint a newly built wall i guess, since it's gonna be painted by someone with something at some point of time.

Later on, I found out why. There was some event going on at the park not far from the Arc of Triumph, and they actually set up some boards in the park, for people to paint on.

Practise makes perfect huh?

And even little spider boy decided to join in the fun.

I just can tell that he's a poser!

Next thing I know..

I was born in Rain 4-Overwhelming Kisses

Someday it just feels like everything is silent. Even the pelting raindrops on my balcony seems so subtle that it blends into the background. It's been rainy lately. And rainy days stir up emotions.

I didn't know spring is a season of rain. Cause spring is always pictured with blooming flowers and sunshine. With joyful people in shorts and tshirts hanging around in the park. Lying on the green grass sun bathing while reading a novel. Something very close to the picture of summer time.

Yet, it has been raining continuously for a whole long week. I love the rain though. Someone said the rain reminds her of peace and serenity. Maybe what she meant was the calmness after the rain though. As much as I wanted to, I did not question her further since it would make me look like a perfect idiot who spoils the mood at that time.

But some time after I agree with her. When it rains, everything stops. The streets are almost empty. With only people hurrying through to shelter with their hands sheltering their pathetic head, as if it would do any good. Anyhow, everyone will be in their own world minding their own business.

Definitely, you'll not see anyone hanging around chatting and laughing away like they always do in sunny days. That means serenity for me who's looking down from my balcony.

Sometimes, I love the rain so much that I even believe that I was somehow related to water. Maybe my previous life was a water creature. Or maybe while my mom was giving birth to me, she's underwater. But neither is true though.

I believed it so much that somehow I think I do better in basketball under the rain. Well, I used to play the game when I was in form 1 and 2. And on some days, the sky just wish to pour on us and we're too young to fear the rain. So after winning a game or two under the rain, I started having this weird thought. I know, I'm a weirdo.

However, on an unrelated note, I did kiss a girl in the rain before. Just trying to imitate. You know how in movies, the man always get to kiss the woman he loves in the rain, and its somehow romantic I assume. On another occasion, I kissed a girl underwater. Well, it's.. hmm.. just wet. Lol..

Anyway, I definitely love the rain. But it's getting too much for me to handle since rain often follows up with emoness which subtlely turns into depressions. So perhaps, a sunny day would do me good tomorrow.

If Everything Comes Free 1-Anymore Kisses?

Unrelated to Coldplay, this story started few years back when a friend of mine turn up at my front gate asking me to tag along. Kinda used to his randomness, I hopped in without a doubt, and the next thing I know, I'm at the Toto counter buying lotteries.

The thing is, Toto and Magnum shops are kinda near to my house. So at times, when this friend of mine goes to buy a ticket, he would drop by my house 1st and insist that I follow along. You know, you just feel better to have somebody accompany you when you do something silly I guess. And of course, I'll end up betting my money on that stupid 4 numbers too.

He said, buying lotteries is like buying hope which is quite true I guess. Cause every weekend, you'll be sitting in front of your computer, checking for the night release of the results, hoping that you'll strike some.

But the truth is, I don't really believe in lotteries, not because I don't want to, but its just that I cant picture myself winning lotteries. And I always think that if you can't imagine it in your mind, it'll never happen to you. So there goes.

Once, we were at the counter again, and he bought some as usual, but instead, never believing in my own luck, I decided to drop that RM1 into the charity box right in front of the shop. That's the last time I bought any.

Then yesterday, I got news from him,

lottery

He strike 1st price. Turned RM1 into 6k. If only, i was back in Kepong and he ask me to tag along before he buys the number, maybe..

I guess, it'll still never happen to me.
